Radiolaria 1 - nassallaria
Initial model was based on electron microscope images of nassellaria skeletons. Later iterations used the patterns and forms to create earrings and a pendant design.
Pendant and earring set. Earrings have an 12mm rose quartz sphere and sterling silver ear wires. Pendant is on an 18” stainless steel choker.
Devolution of Species, a series of graphite-coated 3D prints showing the design progression. The left model is the approximate duplication of the biological form. The biological models 'devolves' to the middle form, and is further simplified into the earring design on the right.
